You can use Puzzabl without creating an account.
All core gameplay features are available without registration.

Creating an account is entirely optional and only required if you want to:

  • Sync your game progress across multiple devices
  • Access detailed gameplay statistics
  • Create or join leaderboards

If you choose not to register, we do not collect any personal information such as your name or email address.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Optional Account Information

If you choose to create a Puzzabl account, we collect:

  • Password, which is securely stored as a hashed and salted value (never in plain text)
  • Display name

You will receive a link to set your password after providing your email address.

2.2 Gameplay Data

We collect and store gameplay-related information necessary for operating the Service, including:

  • Daily puzzle board
  • Saved progress and puzzle
  • Gameplay statistics (if registered)
  • Leaderboard participation data (if registered)

If you use the Service without an account, this data remains only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

If you create an account, this gameplay data may be synced to our servers to allow cross-device access.

2.3 Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app performance and usage trends.
This may include anonymised information such as:

  • Device type
  • App version
  • General usage patterns
  • Performance and crash data

Google Analytics does not provide us with information that personally identifies you.

If you create an account, you may request:

If you use Puzzabl without creating an account, we do not hold any personally identifiable information about you.

9. Account Deletion

Once deleted, your account and gameplay data cannot be recovered.

Users who have not registered can simply uninstall the app - we hold no personal data for unregistered users.

  • Account information is kept for as long as your account remains active.
  • Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Gameplay data stored locally on your device is kept until you delete the app.

11. International Data Transfers

As Puzzabl is operated in the United Kingdom, your data may be stored or processed in the UK or in other countries where our trusted service providers operate.
All transfers are protected using appropriate safeguards.
